PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)

A PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) is a long-term contract between the party that generates electricity and the party that consumes it.

In a distributed-generation PPA, the provider finances, installs, operates and maintains the system at the client’s facility. The client does not invest in the equipment: it pays monthly for the energy the system generates, at a rate set in the contract.

At Fobixer this model is called Suscripción F.E. (Fotovoltaica Empresarial).
